  1. Hi David,
I am planning to get a tattoo on my forearm very soon. I know that since this is a life long commitment, and something that is going to be displayed on my body for the rest of my life, I *NEED* for it to be the best quality. I don’t understand celebrities, who have lots of money and invest in crappy tattoos with low quality ink. If you can spend 100k on that watch, I am pretty sure you can spend a couple grand on a decent tat. C’mon folks. Also, you want to make sure that it isn’t toxic, as a lot of people have had allergic reactions to ink. Is this ink hypoallergenic? Do you think it is safe with people who have sensitivities?

    1. Hello Sophia. Thank you for taking the time to read my review on moms inks. That is awesome your going to be getting your first tattoo. Ya sometimes I don’t think celebrities put a lot of thought into it when they go get inked. No the inks are not hypoallergenic and it sounds if you may have sensitive skin and would speak with your DR and the artist you would have doing your art. Again thank you so much for taking the time to visit my website.
      Best Wishes,

  2. Hi David.
Where in the world do they come up with the names for tattoo ink? LOL! I love the colors and the names. They both have pizzazz!!!
I LOVE your website. I have a question, though, that may seem a little crazy to you, but that’s OK. Just humor me if you have to.
Say I go for a tattoo. I can only describe what I want. He designs and draws it up for me, then, does his magic. Does he own the copyright to my tattoo? It seems to me like it is art. Is there a way for a tattoo artist to copyright his work?
    All the best.

    1. Hello Wendi. Thank you so much for taking the time to read my post. To answer your question yes the artists owns the rights to your tattoo. Again thank you so much for visiting my website and hope I was able to answer your question.

  6. Hi David, I can definitely see the importance of a really good quality ink, especially if it’s something that is going to be tattooed into your body for the rest of your life!
Sometimes you see people with old faded tattoos that really don’t look good and you can barely see the colours. These ones look lovely and bright, and vibrant.
It makes me realise that it is worth asking your tattooist about the ink they are using on you before they get down to business hey? 🙂

    1. Hello Stefanie Thank you for taking the time to read my post. Yes you do want to know your artist is using quality inks. You want your colors to pop and last. Tattoos do fade and you can always have them cleaned up. Moms inks really do deliver bright vibrant colors and are always coming up with new ones. Again thank you so much for visiting my website.

Always in awe when visiting your site!

Just wondering if I need some kind of license when I am buying these? Or, do I need it when I am purchasing a tattoo machine?

Sorry, I am just so curious!

    1. Hello Crystal. Thank you for taking the time to read my post. No you don’t need to have a license to buy ink or a machine. Are you thinking about getting into the Tattoo business? I just checked out the link and they’re going for $62 for the set, which sounds pretty good to me for what you get. I don’t have Amazon prime though but I’m wondering if it would be cheaper even still if I did. Already looks like a good deal though. Will confer with my brother. Thanks for the info.

  10. These inks certainly look very vibrant in the picture. I’m not sure what I would need to look for in a tattoo ink but I’m sure that something that was sterile and long-lasting would be at the top of the lists. You say that this is a kit, but can you buy them individually if you use more of one colour?
